As the Facility Security Officer (FSO), you’ll be building and maintaining the industrial security program in support of our Department of Defense (DoD) work. You’ll lean into your expertise in implementing creative solutions to bureaucratic problems - all whilst providing outstanding customer service to our employees and the USG alike. As Shift5 continues to grow, you’ll work cross-functionally across multiple teams to scale our internal operations and help deliver the most critical technologies to our customers.

What You'll Do:

• Own and execute our comprehensive industrial security program, encompassing both personnel and facility security.
• Manage all aspects of personnel clearances and reporting, ensuring meticulous compliance.
• Oversee facility security operations, maintaining an environment that meets stringent DoD standards.
• Identify and implement innovative efficiencies to optimize security processes and internal workflows.
• Serve as the COMSEC Manager and ITPSO
• Collaborate strategically with various teams, including HR, IT, Recruiting, and Value Engineering. It is pivotal that this work begins on day one to integrate security best practices across the organization.
• Maintain a consistent onsite presence during business hours, with potential for on-call duties during weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

• Active DoD Top Secret (TS) security clearance
• 4+ years of FSO or Alternate FSO experience, possessing facility preferred
• Proven experience in policy interpretation and implementation , documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs),
• Expertise in USG systems: DISS, NBIS, SWFT, NISS, ACCS, etc.

• Base Salary: $125,000-175,000
