About The Role
G2 is seeking a dynamic Senior Manager, Channel Partnerships to lead and expand our strategic ecosystem of partners. This leader will own and drive the global strategy, program development, and execution of G2’s channel and alliance partnerships, fostering referral and influence pipelines across multiple partner categories including Private Equity (PE) firms, digital agencies, and cloud providers.
You will be responsible for overseeing a small but growing team of strategic partner managers to drive awareness and education of G2 across investor portcos, cloud ISVs, and agencies, while growing partner sourced and influenced pipeline. Together, your team will drive revenue growth, brand reach, and customer value through a high-impact partner ecosystem.
In This Role, You Will:
Partnership Strategy and Execution
Develop and execute the comprehensive strategy for Channel and Alliance Partnerships aligned to G2’s business objectives.
Lead partnership planning efforts across PE firms, agencies, and cloud providers to drive influenced and referred revenue.
Expand existing partnerships while sourcing, negotiating, and structuring new strategic alliances.
Create joint business plans with key partners including co-marketing, co-selling, and product integrations where relevant.
Define and monitor KPIs for referral pipeline generation, partner-influenced revenue, and partner satisfaction.
Team Leadership and Development
Be a key contributor to G2’s Partnership and Revenue Leadership teams and help shape the future of our business and culture.
Manage, coach, and grow a high-performing partnerships team, setting clear goals and providing development opportunities.
Own your team’s number. Be accountable for accurate forecasting, tracking, and pipeline generation.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to maximize partner impact.
Business Development and Innovation
Identify new market opportunities and strategic initiatives through partnerships.
Stay ahead of market trends and competitive dynamics to inform partnership strategies.
Represent G2 at industry events, partner summits, and executive meetings.
Program Development and Partner Enablement
Build scalable partner programs including partner onboarding, training, incentives, and co-marketing.
Develop frameworks and toolkits to equip the partner ecosystem to drive referrals and co-sell effectively.
Serve as a key point of contact for strategic partnerships.

6+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or channel sales
3+ years in a leadership role
Proven success in developing and growing partnerships with PE firms, consulting agencies, and/or cloud hyperscalers
Strong leadership and team management skills with experience leading and developing high-performing teams
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Strategic thinker with an ability to translate high-level goals into actionable plans
